Ronald Earl Samuelson was from Wymore, Nebraska. He was born November 21, 1949, and enlisted in the Marine Corps June 3, 1970. His rank was Private First Class, and his military specialty was Rifleman. Private First Class Samuelson died through hostile action from multiple fragmentation wounds in Quang Nam province, South Vietnam on August 6, 1970. He was awarded the Purple Heart and is memorialized at Blue Springs Cemetery, Nebraska.
