IMMORTALIZING THE SERVICE OF ALL MILITARY PERSONNEL - LIVING OR DECEASED
Uniforms may fray and medals lose their luster, but the sacrifice and memories of those that served, and the sacrifice of their families will never fade and should never be forgotten. The Nebraska Vietnam Veterans Memorial offers service members and/or their families and friends an opportunity to immortalize the service ofmilitary personnel of any era or conflict – living or deceasedin the form of a beautiful 3 x 4 inch ceramic tile that will be on permanent display as an integral part of the Nebraska Vietnam Veterans Memorial. In order to provide service men and women and their families and/or friends different options concerning their memorial tile, there are 3 types of tiles available:
OPTION 1: NO PHOTO VERSION This option will contain the service member’s full name, branch of service, era/conflict, years of service, star image (instead of the service member’s photo), and the U.S. flag in the background. For a donation of $200 you can honor your Veteran with this tile.
OPTION 2: PHOTO VERSION The next option will contain all of the same information as the “No Photo” version, but instead will include the service member’s photo, rather than the star image. For a donation of $250 you can honor your Veteran with this tile.
OPTION 3: PHOTO & QR CODE VERSION The third option will contain all of the same information and photo as the “Photo” version but will also include a QR code that will allow visitors to directly access the service member’s history (history must be provided by applicant) via the Nebraska Vietnam Veterans Memorial website.
