It took me 57 years to finally visit your grave site. Very few days have passed, in those 57 years, that I haven’t thought of you, the 196th Light Infantry Brigade and your family. You were my best Army buddy and you were “A Good Guy”. You did your job!! A group of us have been able to get together over the years; John Knoerzer, Larry Tierney, Lee Hunsicker and Bob Taylor, have met up and our conversation always include you in out stories and remembrances. Age has caught up with all of us and we have lost some of the group, but you were always fondly thought of!
