O. L. Madson, Jr was born in Omaha in 1946. He proudly served in the Navy from 1966 to 1970 aboard the USS Chicago as a radar technician. After discharge, he married DeEtta, his beloved wife of 54 years, and returned to work for the Union Pacific Railroad in the signal department. He retired after 38 years of loyal service. He had two children and three grandchildren that he loved endlessly. He passed away in 2026. Fair winds and following seas, Sailor.
