“My generation owes much to Vietnam and Vietnam-era Veterans, as their poor treatment led to a re-imagining of recruiting, force generation, an all-volunteer force, training at every level, and treatment upon homecoming from combat deployments. LTC (Ret.) George H. Jarrett (Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars)  taught, coached, and mentored me in every aspect of my life from 1978 until his passing several years ago…I will do everything in my power to Honor his and others’  lifelong Service with that of my own.”
